These are packages of applications that are either not included in SUSE Linux 9.2 (i386) at all or newer versions of included ones that have been released in the meanwhile. Some of them may also include additional patches - see the source RPMs for details.
I have built these packages for my own needs, but would like to contribute them for general consumption. They have been signed with my GPG public key.
Install these package at your own risk - they work fine for me, but this does not guarantee that they will work for you, too!

The bchunk package contains a UNIX/C rewrite of the BinChunker program. BinChunker converts a CD image in a .bin/.cue format (sometimes .raw/.cue) into a set of .iso and .cdr/.wav tracks. The .bin/.cue format is used by some non-UNIX CD-writing software, but is not supported on most other CD-writing programs. |

KPhone is a SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) user agent for Linux,
with which you can initiate VoIP (Voice over IP) connections over the
Internet. KPhone requires KDE (K Desktop Environment) or at least
various libraries from the KDE package.
